I work in a library that has a HUGE selection of awesome books, and even when I’m not working I seem to come home with a TON of them, so it only makes sense to showcase some of the beauties I plan to read from my local library over a weekend.
Book: Live Through This by Mindi Scott
Why I Took Out This Book: This one received high praise from one of my favourite authors, Stephanie Perkins (author of Anna and the French Kiss), who’s quoted on the cover saying “Harrowing, sad, funny, and romantic. I couldn’t put it down.” Based of of this, I knew I had to add it to my list at the library. And that cover is absolutely GORGEOUS! It also sounds like a very emotional and moving read — something I need more of.
